Loosing our natural condition

It might sound strange, but our way of life has been making us loose our human condition in relation  with nature. Simple basic things as direct sun light exposure and pure air from forests, are now almost restricted benefits for holidays.
Many people is with vitamin D deficit, what we get mainly by 20 minutes of sun light a day. Not even convicts in prisons are restricted from the sun benefits, and I was not getting mine.
What a difference, to be one week in direct contact with trees, earth, sand, sun.

Life rearrengement test

One day, I realized that most of my daily time is dedicated to activities that I can not consider priorities, and that all the things I want to do and consider priorities, are done in the remaining spots, when there is enough time or energy, and not always is possible.
So I am doing what I want, but not enough as I would like. What if I give a boost to my priorities? What if I really treat them as priorities?
I am lucky enough, to have the chance to test how things should be. For almost five months, I will spend most of my time in my priorities, and the remaining of my energy will be dedicated to the rest of activities.
What will happen after those five months? I do not know. Maybe I will change priorities, maybe I will decide that is the way I want to live for the rest of my time, or maybe I will get back to the usual life and like it as it is, but for sure this test will have important consequences in the following years.

The hapiness of the good intentioned truth

Most of our worries usually come from the past, and a good share of those, were born from our own words. How many times we regret something we said,  get caught in a lie, or hurt someone with what we say? If we could just use the power of words, to keep the truth and with the best intention, we can avoid worries, sadness, regrets and taste the happiness of the honest truth.

Glasses in the nose

Have you ever seen someone looking for their reading glasses, and not perceiving they have them on their head, hand or hanging on the neck? That is very common, not only with glasses or keys, but with wishes.
Because of the hurry and speed of our lives, always running towards something that runs faster than us, we never stop to see if the ground we are standing over was what we were looking for in the first place, or is enough for what we were wishing.
Most of the times we already have what we want, but we think is not enough or we think we want something better, only because we did not give enough time to see how great it really was.
Stop! watch!

Time travel

It looks like a lot of people would prefer 1 day weeks.
I usually hear people hope for friday to arrive fast during the week.
On friday they do whatever they were expecting, or plan a lot of things for the weekend, and on saturday begin to worry that sunday is coming, because after sunday is the terrible monday again. And on monday, the loop continues.
Do not enjoy anything, hoping for X time to come, and as the X time moves and vanishes, try to jump or survive into another oasis day or time.
Life is all days and the whole time, instead of running away maybe is better to start enjoying all those daily miracles we miss looking so far ahead.

The power of granting our attention

There are a lot of facts, and there’s our decision on which to give our attention.
Do we focus on the mosquito or in the landscape? do we keep thinking on the guy that cut the line or in the show we are attending? Is it more important the car that closed our way or feeling healthy and warm while driving?
From all the possibilities, are we following what is better for us? if not, why? whol told us not to?

Hard choice

We can convince ourselves of anything we want to. Everything can be good or bad for us depending on the reasons we give ourselves. We manipulate the truth according to our short term wishes. But for true happiness, we should have the honesty tho do things we don’t want, because we know in the end is going to be good for us, and to decline things we want, but we know are going to cause suffering. Easy to say, hard to apply.
